Planning Outlook
A temporary end to the thaw across Highland Scotland on Friday as colder air spreads south. There will be a few showers in Scotland, whilst further south low cloud and patchy rain will clear.
Over the weekend and early next week, pressure will be high across southern Britain. This will result in mild weather, with a little rain for most areas, but still extensive cloud, particularly from N England northwards. However, there is uncertainty for the west Highlands of Scotland, where it could again turn very wet. Bouts of upland gales Highland Scotland.
