Powerboat Level 2 (2 Days)

The Powerboat Level 2 course is designed to give a thorough understanding and ability of the skills required to drive a powerboat safely in the right conditions.

It forms the basis for the International Certificate of Competence (ICC) which is needed if you want to take your boat into foreign waters, or hire one whilst abroad.

As well as the content of the Powerboat Level 1 Course which forms the first day of this course, you will learn about man overboard procedure, anchoring, high and low speed manoeuvres and much more.

This course can be specific to tidal or inland waters and the course content and certificate differ slightly in relation to this.

*Please note that if you would like to receive the RYA Certificate, courses must run at an associated RYA Recognised Training Centre.

These courses are run as private or group bookings only with maximum participant numbers dependant on the boat used.  They can be run at any suitable location in Scotland.
