FIRST AID FOR OUTDOOR SPORTS AND INSTRUCTORS
This First Aid Course makes the core content of the ITC Certificate in Outdoor First Aid (SQA) course specifically relevant to all skiers, snowboarders, snowsports enthusiasts or instructors and the situations they may face.
Theoretical training and practical scenarios are used together and are based on a mixture of being in resort, or in more remote backcountry locations; potentially several hours from help.
The first day covers emergency lifesaving techniques with the second day building upon this with more in depth first aid and practical outdoor scenarios.
You will need to bring your snowsport clothing and skis or snowboards with you on this course as you will experience and practice scenarios whilst out on the hill.
