Developed in partnership with the CTC (the UK’s National Cycling Body), this first Aid Course makes the core content of the ITC Certificate in Outdoor First Aid (SQA) Course specifically relevant to mountain bikers or road cyclists and the situations they may face.
Theoretical training and practical scenarios are used together and are based on being on a local trail or in remote locations; potentially several hours from help.
The first day covers emergency lifesaving techniques with the second day building upon this with more in depth first aid and practical outdoor scenarios.
